Big news!

So I have COMPLETELY failed in my New Years' resolution and have neglected this blog for many, many weeks. But, I have somewhat of a good reason/excuse...we're expecting another baby in October! I've been in the midst of what I like to call "first trimester survival mode"! Between working, chasing Jonathan around, keeping the house (somewhat) straightened, and napping whenever possible, there has been no time for Facebook, blog, or email. :)
I am 13 weeks now and starting to not feel so gross and tired all the time. I've felt more nauseous with this baby than I did with Jonathan but I don't know if it's because of this baby or because I'm not nearly as rested as I was when it was just me and JP. :) It's still not much to complain about though so I'm very thankful.
We are very excited about our growing family and know that God's timing is perfect with this baby just as it was with Jonathan. The official due date is October 19 but since we'll do another c-section and get to pick the date (hopefully), we're looking at October 14. My birthday is the 10th, JP's is the 12th, and in order to make my logical brain happy, the 14th sounded good. :) Plus, the 14th would have been JP's grandfather's 80th birthday so that's neat too. They will be 20 months apart so I hope they will be great friends! Of course Jonathan won't know what's going on for awhile, but we're really playing up the role of big brother. He's such a sweet boy and I think he'll easily learn how to love another little person! Here are some pictures we took at the park of him in his big brother shirt. He's getting so big so quickly!
